Going Out

Embedded in Montessori education for Primary School Aged students is the concept that the wider community is an extension of the learning environment and therefore students are encouraged to explore the world around them through Going Out. To facilitate such experiences, St Catherines' Montessori has a school van which can carry 6 children, and students enjoy planning and experiencing local Goings Out which take them to places such as the Museum, Library, local Parklands, shopping centres and specialty shops.
